Because this is an organization of organizers, we expect more than just lurking. Organizers are organizers in the first place because they are willing to get involved and so some of the work. Obviously everyone will lurk somewhat, but we are looking for participation as well.
Member tasks will include:
- improving and maintaining the Local Group Starter Kit
- help organize or sponsor organizer-outreach events
- participate in the conversation by attending and sometimes hosting teleconferences
- give advice and support on Slack or by email
- help to nominate and select the RoCCY award winners
